Overview
I have been active capturing family history with the different branches of my family and my husband's since we moved from Colorado to Oregon 10 years ago. I have had the opportunity to scan many old photos and learn stories from different ones. I instinctively did some oral interviews during this time and with my dad in January 1978. I find these questions and our conversation is what I would want to capture now were he still alive and able to communicate. I feel very blessed and fortunate to have these treasures, and to be able to learn more about capturing life stories through being involved with IASK - ProStoryKeepers.
I have been married to Glen since Nov 18, 1972. We celebrated our 35th anniversary in January 08 in Hawaii. We have two sons, Andy and Peter, with Peter married to Rachel. March 17, 2008 our first grandchild, Grace Kathryn, arrived prematurely and immediately made her home with Jesus in heaven.
This summer I had emergency gallbladder surgery and am pleased to have 'another chance' to follow through on all the family history projects I have pending.
